Session 1: The Art of Composting - From Scraps to Soil Superfood


Composting is nature’s way of recycling, and it’s easier than you think! In this session, your team will:

  • Learn what can (and can’t) be composted.

  • Discover how to set up a simple composting system at home or in the office.

  • Understand the science behind how compost turns into nutrient-rich “black gold.”

  • Hands-On Activity: Create your own mini compost bin to take home and start your waste-to-gold journey!


Session 2: DIY Organic Fertilizers - Brewing Up Plant Power


Not all fertilizers come in a bag! In this workshop, we’ll explore creative ways to turn waste into plant food, including:


  • Making nutrient-packed compost tea.

  • Crafting fertilizers from kitchen scraps (like banana peels, eggshells, and more).

  • Understanding how these natural fertilizers boost plant growth and soil health.

  • Hands-On Activity: Mix up your own batch of organic fertilizer to use in your garden or office plants.


Session 3: Upcycling Coffee Grounds - From Latte to Leafy Greens


Did you know your morning coffee can do more than wake you up? In this session, we’ll dive into the magic of coffee grounds, including:

  • How coffee grounds can improve soil structure and add nutrients.

  • Creative ways to use coffee grounds in your garden (hint: it’s not just for compost!).

  • Tips for collecting and storing coffee grounds at home or in the office.

  • Hands-On Activity: Create a coffee ground-based fertilizer or mulch and use it to plant herbs or greens.
